Dr. Jeffrey, "Doc", is a normal- unsecular- unpagan psychologist. What does this mean? Secular, means that the culture rejects anything transcendent, beyond the material universe. Pagan, means the culture rejects the adherence to Judeo - Christians, sacred writings. "Doc" is the normal-unsecular, unpagan psychologist because he accepts: the transcendent, beyond the physical world, the adherence to the writings of the Old and New testaments, including the assumptions about human nature.
